$350 [$100 deposit, $250 due prior to first lesson]

Are you experienced with clay and looking to up your skills? Or completely new and looking to learn the basics? This class is for you! Book now to get 3 private lessons, each of which will be 4 hrs long including 20 minutes of cleanup time. You can fire and keep up to 6 pieces. 

The first 2.5 hours of each lesson are instructional and guided by me, the last hour and a half is extra time for you to practice. I’ll be available, but will be working on other things in my home/studio during that time. 

1 25lb bag of clay is included, as well as 4 glaze options for your final pieces. Our schedule will follow the below template, but I plan to meet any students where they’re at and adjust the schedule to your individual needs and interests. Want to concentrate on hand-building one week? Want to concentrate on trying new glazing techniques? We can do that.

• Week 1 Basics, wedging, centering, throwing. 

• Week 2 Trimming and cleaning up your pieces. More Throwing

• Week 3 Finishing your pieces, surface decoration and glazing.

I’ll glaze your pieces (up to 4), fire them, and they should be ready in 3-4 weeks following your last class. I can be somewhat flexible with dates/times since these are 1:1 lessons but I’m generally most open with my time Wednesdays-Saturdays. If we can’t organize a time that works for both of us prior to starting our lessons, I’ll refund your deposit. Once we schedule a time, you’ll receive an invoice for the remaining $250.
